College Catering Assistant - Term Time Only
Location: Leek
Monday to Friday (term time only)
Hours: 9am - 2pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour

We're currently recruiting Catering Assistants to support a college in Leek. This role is ideal if you're returning to work, balancing family commitments, or simply looking for steady part time hours during term time.
To work in a college environment, you'll need an Enhanced DBS check. If you don't already have one, we can support you with the application.
What you'll be doing:- Assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks
- Serving students and staff during lunch service
- Operating tills
- Clearing and cleaning tables and dining areas
- Unpacking and storing deliveries
- Washing dishes and maintaining clean kitchen areas
- Following food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Providing friendly, efficient customer service
- Food Hygiene Level 1 (dated within the last 12 months)
- Willingness to help with cleaning and general kitchen duties
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clear communication skills
- Reliable, motivated, and hard working
- Previous catering experience is helpful but not essential
