Kitchen Assistant - Bank Hutton Village Care Home,

Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour, depending on experience.

Contract: Bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
• Assist chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and keep all preparation areas clean and tidy.
• Monitor stock rotation and comply with company policies, COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.

Qualifications & Skills

• Passion for food with previous kitchen experience.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Commitment to delivering excellent service at each meal and making residents feel at home.
• Ability to work with wider kitchen and care home teams, communicate effectively, and cherish moments with residents.
