Capital City College is looking for a skilled Kings Trust Assistant Team Leader to support and drive key operational functions, helping shape the future of education in the heart of London.
About the RoleThis role is offered on a fixed-term, full-time basis, the contract will end on 31 st of July 2027. This role is full-time, working 35 hours per week.
The Assistant Team Leader supports the successful delivery of The King's Trust Team Programme at Capital City College, helping young people aged 16-25 to build confidence, motivation and skills to progress into employment, education, training or volunteering. Working closely with the Team Leader, the postholder contributes to the recruitment, planning, delivery and evaluation of the 12-week programme, while providing pastoral support and encouragement to participants.

About YouWe're looking for a reliable and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. You should bring:
- Assist the Team Leader in developing and delivering a recruitment strategy to attract a diverse group of young people (16-25).
- Liaise with referral partners including Job Centres, Connexions, youth services, schools, employers and community organisations.
- Assist in delivering The King's Trust Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills (ETCS) qualification from Entry Level 3 to Level 2.
- Support the organisation of purposeful enrichment activities such as guest speakers, day visits and residential experiences.
- Identify and report additional needs (e.g. literacy, numeracy, digital skills, or pastoral support) and contribute to individual learning plans.
- Support the facilitation of learner reviews, evaluations and assessments to monitor progress and encourage achievement.
- Assist with administrative duties including 1:1s, target setting, tracking portfolio progress and gathering assessment evidence.
- Contribute to the completion of reports and statistical returns for Capital City College and The King's Trust.
- Participate in placement visits to ensure health, safety, and quality of experience.
- Help coordinate guest speakers and employer engagement to broaden learners' opportunities.
