Purpose of Role
To support the sales team with efficient management of Key Accounts both customer facing and office based, through data analysis, analytical reporting, managing day to day customer queries, coordination of marketing assets and event organisation. To support the tender process through liaison with internal departments
Person Specification
The role requires a self-motivated, forward-thinking individual, able to balance the daily demands of Key Account customers, forging strong relationships with Key Account Managers the wider sales team, and the wider business to exceed expectation. Attention to detail is key.
Experience in Microsoft Office is essential along with a proven track record in excellent customer service.

- Ability to attend customer meetings and talk with confidence and commercial acumen
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Data validation and collection using various systems.
- Experience in submitting tenders would be useful , but not essential.
- Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Excel for data organisation, analysis, and visualisation.
- Key skills include creating formulas, utilising functions, and managing spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing key accounts by identifying product gaps from customer data.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers
- Develop a deep understanding of the customers business and objectives to better serve their needs
- Resulting in developing joint business plans with Key account managers
- Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer needs are fulfilled effectively. Regular attendance in internal service meetings.
- Manage and solve day to day issues with customers to support Key Account Managers
- Work with Key Account managers to negotiate pricing and product queries
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to deliver on account objectives
- Analyse and prepare key account data to support customer review meetings
- Ensure tenders are delivered on time and with all relevant data.
- Coordinate events with the sales team and suppliers utilising the development kitchen facilities
