Key Account Manager - Composites UK Travel


A leading provider of high-performance material solutions is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their UK team, focusing on their composites division. This company specialises in delivering customised materials-composites, adhesives, coatings, and surface treatments-to the aerospace, defence, and industrial markets. Their mission? To add value through innovation, technical expertise, and tailored services.


As part of a global group, you'll be instrumental in supporting major UK-based customers, providing technical guidance and ensuring a seamless client experience.


Location:

Ideally based in the Midlands, with national travel to customer sites. This is a home / field based position with autonomy and flexibility.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing and expanding relationships with key customers in aerospace and industrial sectors
  • Providing expert advice on composite materials and recommending bespoke solutions
  • Identifying growth opportunities and new business within existing accounts
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction
  • Staying informed on market developments and feeding insight into the sales strategy


What We're Looking For:

  • Background in composites, aerospace, or high-performance materials
  • Strong track record in technical sales or key account management
  • Excellent communicator, confident in presenting and negotiating
  • Self-driven, highly organised, and commercially aware
  • UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
