We are looking for a Key Account Director to join Capita Pensions Solutions (CPS) to support a portfolio of our BPA/Insurer Services key accounts. The role involves partnering and developing those accounts, handling strategic and transactional engagement throughout the life cycle of the contract, fostering strong partnerships, improving client satisfaction, and supporting CPS's digital roadmap aspirations through effective communication.
Responsibilities- Accountable for partnering and developing key accounts in BPA/Insurer Services, ensuring strategic and transactional engagement.
- Develop unique development and up sell/cross sell opportunities, aligning CPS or the wider business capability where appropriate.
- Support digital roadmap initiatives through effective communication and buy in to CPS continuous improvement propositions.
- Review effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, processes and controls and suggest enhancements to service delivery.
- Manage operations by communicating operational changes to clients and obtaining buy in or permission where required.
- Ensure delivery of agreed client and contractual expectations and obligations in a highly confidential manner.
- Own and manage change control notes, letters of variation for tasks outside of the contract, and provide oversight and approval of invoicing.
- Support client strategy (short and long term) by maintaining up to date account plans reviewed monthly to identify further opportunities.
- Lead client meetings, ensuring timely issuance of agreed format documents.
- Lead instructions to the delivery team, ensuring decisions or actions from client meetings are followed through to completion.
- Lead rebids, extensions and governance processes, ensuring timely management in line with Capita's governance.
- Lead Contract Review Committees and Product Review Committees for existing and new clients.
- Actively manage and resolve claims and commercial issues.
- Maximise opportunities for upsell, cross sell or project revenue across individual client portfolios.
- Experienced account director with a background in financial services, outsourcing or other regulated sectors.
- Desirable experience in BPA/Insurer services.
- Understanding of pension operations.
- Growth mindset, ability to lead change and instil a culture of learning and excellence.
- Experience managing a portfolio of accounts and delivering against individual objectives.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Solid understanding of commercial pricing models to drive revenue growth and maintain profitability targets.
- Capability to build, nurture and maintain deep, trusted relationships with clients to assimilate strategic and near term operating challenges and priorities.
