OverviewThe EDC works with supporting functions such as Quality, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Finance. A dedicated quality assurance centre ensures compliance of all shipped parts to internal and external standards. The Key Account Director will lead global semiconductor accounts, primarily in lithography and related technologies, and may work remotely or from a business unit site in Europe.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Understand the business needs and objectives of key accounts and develop tailored strategies to meet those needs.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and develop plans to capitalize on those opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to key accounts.
- Monitor account performance and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments to inform account strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Develop and implement account plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to account managers and other team members.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand business within key accounts, including cross selling and upselling opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to grow the business and increase market share.
- Work with the sales team to acquire new key accounts, expanding the company's customer base.
- Develop accurate revenue forecasts and track performance against targets, making adjustments as needed.
- Continuously seek ways to innovate and improve account management processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Significant experience in account management, sales, or a related field, focusing on key accounts.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor industry trends and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in semiconductor chip manufacturing and OEMs.
- In depth application knowledge of lithography, metrology, and inspection is a strong plus.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
