The VacancyWe have an opportunity for a Key Account Director to join our Wates team within our Responsive Maintenance division. The role involves leading, developing, and growing existing and new customer accounts. You will be expected to provide an effective and professional service, aligned with the business unit sales plan, guiding principles, and customer account plans.
Key Accountabilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential, new, and existing customers.
- Set strategies for developing relationships with other Wates team members and the client's professional teams.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to deliver optimal solutions and services, sharing responsibility for account outcomes.
- Provide accurate forecast information on customer delivery plans and future workload visibility.
- Ensure project/bid teams understand the customer's key drivers regarding scope, programme, and cost.
- Maintain an up-to-date Customer Action Plan focused on profitable development and excellent customer service.
- Prepare and present monthly account performance reports.
Successful candidates will demonstrate customer-centric skills, have experience in growing sales through long-term relationships in any industry, and possess strong leadership and sales development skills.
