Junior Technical Sales Manager

IQM Selezione, recruiting company operating in Italy, is seeking an experienced:

Technical Sales Manager - Polymers and Additives to join one of Japan's largest trading

companies:

Key Responsibilities:

The chosen candidate will autonomously perform the following activities:

• Reach country sales and profit margin targets;
• Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close sales;
• Successfully manage and optimize current business accounts.
• Define, develop, build and successfully manage new business accounts.
• Correspond with suppliers and buyers and respond to inquiries.
• Identify and successfully deliver new business opportunities.
• Represent the company at meetings and exhibitions.
• Report monthly sales execution to the management;
• Report on market trends in the country.

Ideal profile:

1. Technical education and deep commercial understanding;
2. Preferably degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Sciences or other similar degrees;
3. 3/5-years experience in international companies within the chemical industry, operating in production and distribution of polymers throughout Italy;
4. Good technical knowledge of the chemical industry, materials and tools; Knowledge of Polymers such as Engineering plastics, high performance materials, thermoplastic elastomer for different applications such as compounding, automotive, medical, etc.
5. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point);
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in other European languages is a plus
7. Availability and strong interest to travel nationally and internationally (about 50% of the time).

Workplace: Milan, with availability to travel. Company car in pooling.

Compensation and benefits: Full time employment contract; .Gross salary will be related to the effective experience of the candidate.
