In this role, you'll work towards your Level 3 Software Developer qualification delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:
  1. Complete internal training course over 12 months to aid continuous professional development.
  2. Handle inbound/outbound calls to liaise with clients and third parties, fostering a proactive approach to resolving queries.
  3. Use analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose issues, implement fixes, and deliver resolutions via the Helpdesk.
  4. Respond to requests as necessary based on priority, adhering to Service Level Agreements.
  5. Manage time & workload resourcefully and take pride in the work you complete, understanding its place in business.
  6. Work efficiently across 2 teams providing support to Techedia's client base with Case Management support queries and contribute to the build of middleware solutions.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:
  • £15,000 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday, core working hours are 8am-6pm.
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge:
  • Education or strong background in IT.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in writing logical code components (e.g., Python, C#) is beneficial.
  • Able to work efficiently as part of a team.
  • Understanding of case management systems is beneficial.
  • A dedicated mindset with a long-term career vision in a rewarding culture.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Source/version control (GitHub), project management tools (Azure, DevOps, Trello, ), relational databases is beneficial.
