We are recruiting on behalf of a global engineering organisation seeking a Junior Electronics Test Engineer to join their growing team in Glasgow.

The Role

As a Junior Electronics Test Engineer, you will support R&D Engineers in the development, validation, and testing of power conversion systems. The position is hands on and lab based, with responsibility for:

• Constructing, modifying, and maintaining test fixtures and setups
• Working from and interpreting electrical circuit diagrams
• Supporting testing activities across electronic and software systems
• Assisting with troubleshooting and fault finding
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the lab
• This role offers exposure to cutting edge technology within a collaborative, global engineering environment

Core Skills & Experience

• Background in Electronics and/or Software Engineering
• Experience working with electronic systems
• Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams
• Experience with Python and/or LabVIEW
• Experience constructing or maintaining test rigs and fixtures
• Desirable: Exposure to power supplies or power conversion systems
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
