Job Title: Graduate/ Junior Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Design and specification of electrical building services systems
  • Produce detailed calculations and design using industry software such as Amtech, Electrical OM, Relux, and Revit, with training available for other software
  • Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, and tender documentation
  • Produce designs and drawings of fire alarms, access doors, lighting, emergency lighting and more
  • Attend design team meetings, site visits, and inspections as required
  • Ensure designs comply with current legislation, standards, and best practice
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 1-5 years of experience in electrical building services design
  • Working experience with design software
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice
  • Working towards membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIBSE) desirable
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
