This is a fixed term contract until the end of 2025.
What you'll be doing A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Junior Corporate Paralegal to join McArthurGlen, Europe's leading developer, owner and operator of premium designer outlet on a fixed term basis ( approx. 6 months). As the pioneer of designer outlet retailing in Europe, McArthurGlen continues to shape the concept of destination shopping for local communities and international visitors.
The successful paralegal will join the dynamic and busy McArthurGlen legal team in London and will report into the Corporate Legal Advisor. Your role will support various corporate, regulatory, compliance and commercial related matters.
Key Accountabilities

- Reviewing and drafting of documentation, including board minutes, written resolutions, and other ancillary documents
- Company searches and due diligence
- Signing and closing arrangements for transactions
- Post-completion tasks, including collating originals, file management and upload of transaction bibles
- Arranging execution of documents (including collecting signatures via DocuSign)
- Company secretarial support, including tracking and processing statements and other Companies House Filings
- Assisting with corporate governance matters including preparation of materials for board meetings and minutes
- Maintenance of electronic records
- Diary management of the corporate legal team and scheduling of board meetings

- Future legal trainee awaiting start of training contract or a someone with approximately one to two years' worth of corporate/commercial experience (legal or non-legal)
- The ability and ambition to pick up tasks and work autonomously
- Someone who will understand the mechanics of a transaction, be personable, unafraid to ask questions, but also willing to take initiative and drive results
- Ability to support on a broad range of practice areas
- Willingness to work flexibly and at a fast pace
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organised
- A great attitude to work
- Computer literacy, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
