Role OverviewThe Junior Compliance Associate will support the Compliance Testing and Assurance (CTA) Program by executing testing activities, tracking issue remediation, and providing clear reporting and insights. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to ensure identified risks are appropriately escalated, documented, and remediated, while staying aligned with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and manage assigned Compliance Testing and Assurance (CTA) activities across the full life cycle, including planning, execution, reporting, and issue remediation, with escalation where required.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports on CTA results and collaborate with stakeholders to conduct root cause analysis and develop effective remediation plans.
- Maintain issue tracking and remediation-related documentation in the central issue management system (Archer).
- Track, monitor, and validate the implementation of remediation plans submitted by issue owners to confirm timely and effective resolution of identified issues.
- Support the development and delivery of CTA-related training and awareness materials, as required.
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to identify emerging risks that may impact products and the CTA Program.
- Develop, maintain, and produce compliance metrics and management reporting.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the broader compliance function.
- 3+ years of Experience executing Compliance Testing and Assurance (CTA) programs, testing plans, and related activities across a range of financial services and products.
- Working knowledge of financial services laws, regulations, and risk management practices.
- Proven ability to deliver work to budget while meeting defined quality standards.
- Hands-on Experience developing metrics, dashboards, and compliance reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Highly motivated, analytical, organized, innovative, and adaptable.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with global partners across multiple functional teams.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision and exercising sound judgment when situations arise.
- Flexibility to work extended hours when required to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Slides and Excel or Google Sheets.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Finance, or a related field.
