Posted 17 hours 3 minutes ago by NHS
Closing date: 09 April 2026
St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides acute and long term neurological services to 3.4 million inhabitants in the region. The neuroscience centre is located in the Atkinson Morley Wing and offers state of the art facilities for diagnosis and treatment in all branches of neurology.
These posts are not formally recognised for core or higher training nor do they attract an NTN, but they offer excellent experience and access to the same educational opportunities as core trainees. Previous trainees have secured NTNs in neurology, neurosurgery, ACCS, radiology or allied disciplines.
The posts are popular with candidates seeking an IMT number, those wanting experience of neurology, stroke and neuro rehabilitation as F3, and completed ST2 trainees looking to gain a year of clinical neuroscience experience before applying for an ST3 position. Acting up ST3 experience may be available to suitable candidates. We also help junior candidates secure CMT and ST rotations.
The posts run for 12 months from 6 August 2025 to 6 August 2026, with an option to extend to August 2027 by mutual agreement.
