The Team
The U.K. & Ireland are our domestic and most mature markets. Functions include commercial, operations, and marketing. Teams in the UK&I collaborate closely with global functions such as product, technology, and consumer to deliver results for our customers.
The Greater London team manages relationships between Deliveroo and mid-market restaurant partners in the London metropolitan area, including Greenwich, Dulwich, Croydon, and Kingston. The team aims to provide the best possible selection to customers in the region.
Please note: A valid driving licence and a car are beneficial, as travel within regions like Greenwich, Dulwich, Croydon, and Kingston is expected. However, this isn't mandatory if you're comfortable with travel.
This role involves significant travel and outdoor work, so being comfortable outside an office environment is essential.
The Role
We are seeking Account Managers to join our Greater London team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing, well-funded start-up. You will engage with top restaurants across the London Metropolitan Area, nurturing existing relationships and helping increase their online sales. This role suits a personable, outgoing individual who enjoys relationship-building.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with restaurant partners through effective communication, both face-to-face and remotely.
- Driving restaurant performance via data analysis and industry insights to maximize order volume and growth.
- Contributing to city growth by analyzing data and solving problems to increase market share.
- Negotiating contracts and partnership terms.
- Collaborating with national restaurant and rider operations teams to enhance regional operations.
- Partnering with marketing teams to launch campaigns that promote growth.
- Innovating and presenting new ideas to boost Deliveroo's growth in your zones and across the UK.
- Developing and executing growth strategies with your manager.
- Becoming a local expert, understanding the restaurant industry inside out, and representing Deliveroo to the industry.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in account management, commercial, or growth teams.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, both face-to-face and via phone or email.
- Solid commercial understanding and data analysis skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and problem-solver.
