Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Joiner to join our building maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of reactive and planned joinery/carpentry tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. You will ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales, and in compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent attemtion to detail, resilience , problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Joiner.
Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools
Knowledge of building regulations and health and safety practices
Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent qualification (desirable
Full UK Driving license essential
Overtime Call out Rota when required
DBS Preferred but not essential
Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry or joinery are advantageous but not essential.
