Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Highly Specialist Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Respiratory care. The successful candidate will be stationed at one of our four main hospital sites, contributing to the delivery of patient-focused, quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the full range of duties as a highly specialist clinical pharmacist.
  • Provide patient-focused pharmaceutical care, ensuring the responsible provision of medication to achieve definite outcomes that improve patients' quality of life.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to optimize their pharmaceutical management.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to design, implement, and monitor therapeutic plans to optimize health outcomes.
  • Assist lead pharmacists in promoting high-quality, cost-effective, and safe prescribing.
  • Provide pharmaceutical services within the specialist area of rotation and the associated hospital site.
  • Participate in education and training for pharmacists within the pharmacy team at Barts Health.
  • Assist in the provision and development of clinical pharmacy services within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A qualified pharmacist with relevant experience in respiratory care.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
