Taylor & Hart is an e commerce bespoke jeweller specialising in engagement rings and wedding rings. We offer customers the opportunity to create a high quality custom engagement ring or jewellery piece through a seamless process, delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The role is to provide customers with an industry leading consultation experience, building knowledge in 3D design, jewellery, diamonds, gemstones, and company processes while assisting the sales team. There is no individual sales target; the long term goal is becoming a Design Consultant within 12-24 months.

Main Responsibilities

• Warmly invite and welcome customers to the store
• Assist in qualifying walk in customers
• Work with the wider team on visual merchandising implementation
• Conduct wedding ring (and eventually engagement ring) consultations
• Ensure all products are displayed correctly in line with guidelines
• Process sales in store efficiently and smoothly
• Assist with any after care services, from booking in to handling face to face after care bookings
• Assist in the opening and closing procedure and frequent shop floor walks during the day
• Follow all store policies and procedures
• Understand loss prevention and health and safety procedures
• Provide support to the wider sales team when requested
• Phone customers to confirm attendances on the day and following day (if not already confirmed)
• Inspire excitement with every customer, confidently guiding them through the Taylor & Hart journey and ensuring each becomes a brand ambassador
• Ask open questions to make customers comfortable and understand their needs
• Educate customers on products and services, answering any questions about the brand and policies
• Collaborate with the wider sales team to ensure every product aspect is carefully considered
• Navigate key systems comfortably
• Work with precision to ensure information is complete, accurate and company policies are followed to contribute to continued company growth

Required Experience

• Experience in fine jewellery (required)
• Ideally experience in customer centric retail or sales roles

Compensation: Salary dependent on experience in London, with a 30% performance based quarterly bonus.

Design Consultant - Permanent

Overview: Taylor & Hart is an e commerce bespoke jeweller specialising in engagement rings and wedding rings. Customers create high quality custom pieces through a seamless process, facilitated by consultants in showroom and online communication channels. The company is based in the City of London and its workshop on Chancery Lane.

The role is to provide an industry leading consultation experience, both in person and virtually, ensuring each customer's ring is perfectly created. Working times are Sunday 9:30 am - 6:30 pm, Monday-Thursday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.

Main Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome customers to consultations, in person or virtual
• Inspire excitement with every customer, becoming a brand ambassador
• Collaborate with the customer, CAD team and production team for thorough product consideration
• Deliver sales efficiently
• Contact and qualify new bookings before their showroom visit
• Ensure the customer pipeline is constantly attended to, clearing backlog of unresponsive leads
• Respond to new enquiries quickly, mostly within one working day
• Support the wider team in setting customer expectations from first contact to post purchase experience
• Ensure information is complete and accurate, following company policies to aid growth
• Produce high conversion rates from consultations to sales
• Contribute through innovation and new approaches, staying ahead of customer experience
• Improve the consultation experience, monitoring industry best practices and potential technology innovations
• Provide support to the wider sales team when needed
• Champion Taylor & Hart brand values in every interaction
• Improve sales process efficiency, digitally or in person
• Deliver high quality written and verbal communication in line with company tone of voice
• Navigate key systems (QT, Salesforce, YesWare, Intercom, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) comfortably
• Comply with all internal policies to minimize errors, returns and sub optimal experiences
