Contract Type: Seasonal Part-Time (Now - 23rd October 2026, includes weekend shifts)
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager, and supervised by Housekeeping Leads.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be part of a highly motivated team, providing the highest standards of cleanliness throughout Condover Hall, and in particular to the preparation of our accommodation, communal spaces, and activity areas in readiness for our guests. This will involve performing routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, cleaning and polishing surfaces, vacuuming and mopping floors, sanitising bathrooms and toilets, and making beds. It is expected our Housekeeping Assistants will take pride in their work, enjoy working as part of a team, and thrive in a busy, hands on environment.
This is a seasonal role working a mix of Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Standard hours are between 9:00am and 4:30pm depending on contract. Flexible working may be possible subject to the agreement of the Housekeeping Manager, and operational requirement.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Accommodation & Facilities
- Clean guest rooms and bathrooms to a high standard.
- Prepare beds and ensure fresh linen and supplies are ready for guest arrivals.
- Clean and maintain communal areas, including corridors, lounges, and the swimming pool area.
Housekeeping Operations
- Ensure storerooms are stocked with necessary linens, guest supplies, and cleaning products.
- Help decorate the centre for events and seasonal activities.
- Maintain health, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Ensure all products are used and stored correctly in accordance with COSHH.
Teamwork & Guest Experience
- Work efficiently during guest arrival and departure days.
- Support other departments when required to ensure smooth operation across the site.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming and positive environment for all guests.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn new skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, physically active role.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is desirable but not essential.
