JavaScript Consultant - Birmingham (Hybrid - Travel Required)

Are you a Senior Consultant? You will be joining the development team and be expected to contribute throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle. While playing a vital role in crucial projects, you will also prioritize initial engagements with brand-new clients.

How pivotal you will be as their consultant

You will be responsible for leading and shaping new propositions, helping to win work that enhances our client's reputation and integrity as experts in innovation, and driving the execution of the work with our clients.

As an integral point of contact with their client, you will clearly acknowledge business strategies and how the proposed solution adds value, focusing on client satisfaction. Successful consultants are perceived as business partners and will be included in crucial meetings and discussions on strategic obstacles.

The work will be challenging, as they are creating complex products with intriguing issues around UX, architecture, and scaling. This role is critical to the ongoing success of this consultancy.

What you will need to have

  • Expertise in JavaScript development, including experience with frameworks/technologies such as Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of running workshops and presenting ideas to clients at all levels. Highly developed influencing and negotiating skills are also essential.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple projects simultaneously, overcome obstacles, and adapt quickly to changing client priorities.

Specifics

Location: Manchester (Willingness to travel nationally within the UK when required, often at short notice, approximately 8 days per month).

Salary: £70,000 - £85,000

Workstyle: Hybrid
