This is a *London* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *developing and maintaining software using Java and related technologies*.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join their London tech team on a 6-month contract. You'll design, build, and maintain high-quality software applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using Java and related technologies.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.

• Monitor and improve system performance and reliability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Strong experience in Java software development.

• Solid understanding of design patterns, testing, and CI/CD.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Willingness to join on-call rotation if required.
