Java Golang Engineer

Software Architect - Cloud Engineering | London/Burgess Hill | Hybrid

Join my banking sector client as a Software Architect and help us build a secure, compliant, and developer-friendly public cloud platform. You'll lead the design of cloud-native architectures, develop infrastructure tooling in Golang, and empower developers to provision and manage cloud resources with speed and ease.

What You'll Do

• Design reusable reference architectures for AWS

• Build and maintain Terraform modules, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)

• Enable fast, compliant infra provisioning and decommissioning

• Guide engineers and advocate for developer experience

• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions

What You Bring

• 6+ years in software/cloud architecture

• Strong Golang, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker experience

• Passion for automation, clean code, and end-user documentation

• Experience mentoring and leading by example

• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum), TDD, Terraform, OPA/Sentinel
