Java Developer

Java Developer - JP Morgan Chase - Dublin - 6 months contract - Onsite - PAYE

We are seeking a number of Java Developers of different experience levels to join JP Morgan in Dublin on an initial 6 months contract with the possibility of extending or converting to permanent in the future. You will join a new team of Back End developers who manage the Employee Experience Technology platform used on a global scale.

Java development experience

• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficient in Java, Microservices, APIs and Springboot Framework
• Experience building applications within AWS Cloud
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (eg, cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Desirable qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Practical knowledge using messaging framework like Kafka is a plus
• Experience with Test Driven Development would be a plus
• Knowledge of OAuth authentication & authorization patterns is a plus
