Java Backend Engineer

Are you passionate about building scalable backend systems and working with cutting-edge IoT data? One of our clients is looking for a skilled Java Backend Engineer to join our growing team and help us develop high-performance, time-series-driven analytics platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
• Build and optimize microservices architectures that handle high-throughput IoT data
• Work with time-series databases and analytics frameworks to process and visualize large datasets
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and data engineering teams to ship production-quality features
• Contribute to architecture decisions and performance tuning

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development using Java (Spring Boot)
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Hands-on experience with IoT platforms and time-series data processing (e.g., InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, Apache Kafka, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and security best practices

Nice to Have:

• Experience with real-time streaming frameworks (e.g., Apache Flink, Kafka Streams)
• Background in analytics or visualization tools for IoT metrics
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
