IT TMS Manager - Logistics & Technology Leadership

Location: Hybrid (UK/Europe)

Contract: £500-£600 per Day

Talent Today are working with a global logistics organisation seeking an IT TMS Manager who can bridge technology and transport operations.

This role needs someone who's equally comfortable leading IT systems and understanding the logistics reality on the ground, ensuring the Transport Management System (TMS) runs smoothly, evolves strategically, and truly supports the business.

What You'll Do

• Lead and coach regional TMS & IT teams across multiple European regions

• Manage all aspects of the TMS application ecosystem - configuration, integrations, reports, and upgrades

• Act as the key link between IT and logistics operations, aligning delivery with the European TMS strategy

• Oversee regional incidents, enhancements, and project delivery

• Drive process improvement and optimise transport workflows through technology

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience OF managing Transport Management Systems (TMS) in a logistics or supply chain environment. The Client uses Carlo but this system experience isn't essential.

• Strong IT background - system ownership, configuration, data, and integration

• Skilled in stakeholder management across business and IT functions

• Hands-on problem solver with project delivery experience across complex, multi-site operations

• Monthly Short European Visits to Client sites
