A high school in Bury has approached Hays looking for an interim IT Technician for 3-6 months. The role would be working in a high school on site Monday-Friday between . They are ideally looking for someone with school experience.
Your new role
As an IT Technician, you will:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to staff and students
- Troubleshooting hardware and software
- Maintenance of equipment, hardware and software
- Network diagnostics
- Installations, repairs and upgrades
- Helpdesk queries
- Resetting usernames and passwords
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:
- Experience of working in an IT Support role (education sector desirable)
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to support staff and students
- Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (we can get on pending)
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle
