We here at Grounds Care Group have an exciting opportunity for a full-time IT Systems Developer to join our busy but friendly team. We are offering a competitive salary of £40,000 to £50,000 (dependent upon skills & experience), on a permanent contract.

Job Description
As an IT Systems Developer, you will play a crucial role in our technology team, focusing on coding, system integration, and problem-solving. You will be responsible for improving current systems, enhancing architecture functionality, and creating new functions and integrations, as well as developing, maintaining, and integrating both off-the-shelf solutions and bespoke systems. Your expertise in coding and logical thinking will be essential in creating efficient solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain bespoke systems using Zoho and Dwelent code.
2. Improve existing systems and enhance architectural functionality to optimize performance.
3. Create new functions and integrations to meet evolving business requirements.
4. Integrate multiple systems, including using off-the-shelf integrations and creating bespoke API integrations, ensuring seamless functionality and data flow.
5. Work with external suppliers to bring externally developed systems under your management.
6. Propose opportunities for technology-led improvements, including opportunities to exploit the potential of AI for efficiency in the business.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide innovative solutions.
8. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of systems to ensure optimal performance.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
10. Document development processes, system configurations, and user guides.
11. Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance our systems and practices.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in software development and coding (languages may include Java, Python, PHP, etc.).
2. Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to challenges.
3. Experience with API integrations and working with various software systems.
4. Familiarity with Zoho and Dwelent code is a plus.
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
6. A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a desire to learn and adapt.
