Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable Onsite Support Engineer to provide technical support across our customer base in Dublin. In this role, you will be the key onsite representative of the company, handling installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems. You'll work both independently and as part of our wider support team, delivering a consistently high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure desktops, Servers, and networking hardware
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting and equipment repairs where possible
  • Respond to and resolve user support requests in person and remotely
  • Maintain detailed records of support requests and outcomes using internal ticketing systems

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • 0-1 years of experience in an IT support role
  • Strong knowledge of PC, laptop, and server hardware
  • Practical experience with:
    • Windows Server 2008/2012
    • Microsoft Office suite
    • Networking & Active Directory
    • Desktop operating systems (Windows 7, 8, 10; macOS)
    • Apple/MAC devices, Citrix environments

Desirable:

  • Industry certifications such as MCP, MCITP, A+, CCENT
  • Experience in working within data center environments
  • Exposure to ticketing systems and ITIL frameworks

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in a relevant IT or Engineering discipline
