Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Second Line Support Consultant to join our small and dynamic team. The Consultant will be supporting the Amsterdam office onsite for new joiners and is responsible for providing technical assistance and escalated support to our colleagues, resolving complex software, integration and hardware issues, and ensuring timely resolution of support tickets.

Responsibilities and duties

Provide support to new joining colleagues, or for hardware related issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
Provide second-line technical support to clients, including troubleshooting and resolving escalated software and hardware issues.
Investigate and diagnose complex technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolution details in the ticketing system.
Collaborate with first-line remote support staff and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve support processes.
Assist with the testing and validation of software updates, patches, and new features.
Provide training and mentoring to first-line support staff on advanced troubleshooting techniques and best practices.
Provide excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude, even in challenging situations, is important for building trust and rapport with end-users.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

in a technical support role.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues is essential.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Azure security services and features, including Azure Active Directory (AAD), role-based access control (RBAC), Azure Security Center.
Knowledge of license management, provisioning processes and experience in managing software licenses for different applications.
Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) solutions for provisioning, configuring, and managing mobile phones and tablets.
Experience in stock management processes, including inventory tracking, procurement, and asset management.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications in relevant areas, such as CompTIA, Microsoft Certification, ITIL, are a plus.
Fluent in both written and spoken English; fluency in Dutch, French, or other language a plus. The position is full-time and based in Amsterdam but will also require international travel.
