You will be independently responsible for the following tasks
  • School IT Coordinator (SIT)
  • First-level IT support for school IT, unless assigned to specific schools
  • Configuration, operation, and administration of the school's MDM system, as well as support for managed mobile devices
  • Planning, configuration, and maintenance of school telecommunications systems
  • Planning and support of internet connections for schools
  • Collaboration on other IT projects and IT tasks in the school sector
  • Planning, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems within the independent city library network (e.g., public Wi-Fi, MakerSpace, Open Library)
  • 1st-level and 2nd-level IT support for the city library's independent IT systems
  • Technical consulting for schools and the city library regarding procurement and contractual matters
Qualification Profile
  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist, IT systems electronics technician, or IT systems technician, or
  • Completed degree (minimum bachelor's) in Computer Science or Business Informatics or
  • Passed the career examination for career group 2, entry-level position 1 (formerly higher technical administrative service)
  • Very good knowledge of the operating systems iPadOS, iOS, macOS, Linux, and Microsoft Windows, as well as virtual environments such as VMware or Citrix
  • Independent, dedicated, flexible, and responsible work ethic-including when working in a team
  • Willingness to engage in regular professional development
  • Experience in second-level support is desirable
  • Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to use your own car for work purposes, if necessary, with reimbursement of travel expenses

  • An annual salary ranging from €44,100 to €62,000 (Pay Grade 9b TVöD-V), depending on professional experience, plus an annual bonus and performance-based bonus

This is a permanent full-time position (39.00 hours or 41.00 hours for civil servants). Part-time employment is generally possible.
