IT Services Manager

We are looking for a IT Services Manager to take ownership of IT operations, security, infrastructure, and web services in a growing, fast-paced company. This role is ideal for someone midway through their career, excited to step up, take responsibility, and grow into a leadership position over time.

You'll be responsible for ensuring our IT systems and cloud infrastructure run smoothly, our security policies are effective, and our teams are well-supported with the technology and tools they need. You'll also manage our web hosting environment and support our WordPress-based properties, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime, performance, and technical maintenance.

We're looking for a hands-on problem solver with a growth mindset, technical depth, and a passion for secure, scalable, and reliable systems.

What will you be doing? Technology & IT Operations

1. Manage and optimize IT services to align with company goals
2. Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure (networks, virtualization, AWS-hosted services)
3. Support and maintain company websites hosted on WordPress (plugins, themes, updates, performance)
4. Implement and enforce IT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
5. Provide IT support, onboarding, and troubleshooting for employees
6. Manage vendor relationships and contracts
7. Oversee IT asset management, including software and hardware tracking

Security & Compliance

1. Develop and implement security policies; monitor threats and respond to incidents
2. Maintain cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint and network security
3. Oversee Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and secure data workflows
4. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards
5. Manage user identities and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations

Infrastructure & Support

1. Oversee mobile device management and OS updates
2. Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning
3. Maintain IT documentation and support change management processes
4. Support video production workflows, including secure file management and archiving

Web Hosting & Cloud Services

1. Manage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM)
2. Optimize website uptime, performance, and hosting setup
3. Monitor and manage DNS, SSL certificates, and website security

Growth & Innovation

1. Stay current with emerging tech and recommend improvements
2. Lead or contribute to IT projects
3. Conduct staff training on IT tools and security best practices
4. Work cross-functionally to improve systems and processes

What will you have done before?

1. Experience in IT, infrastructure, or cybersecurity roles
2. Experience managing and maintaining WordPress websites
3. Familiarity with AWS environments (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM)
4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to non-technical teams
6. Hands-on experience with security tools and network monitoring
7. Proficiency with IT support, system admin, and cloud-based solutions
8. Strong documentation skills (SOPs, policies, etc.)
9. Experience with budget oversight and cost optimization

Bonus (Nice to Have):

1. Certifications: CompTIA Security+, ITIL, AWS Cloud Practitioner, PMP
2. Familiarity with video production workflows and media asset management
3. Experience with SSO protocols and identity management tools
4. Background in supporting creative or media teams

This role is hybrid, based in our Shoreditch, London office, with a requirement to work three days per week in the office.
