IT Security Controller

Our client is an international organisation strengthening its global IT Security posture. You will join a team focused on improving governance, compliance, and audit readiness across all regions.

As the IT Security Controller, you will oversee IT Security remediation activities, audits, and assessments, ensuring global alignment and strong governance practices.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee global remediation actions from IT Security assessments, penetration tests, and audits.
• Act as the key point for reporting, documentation, and audit communication.
• Improve global IT Security governance and compliance processes.
• Verify audit findings and coordinate cross-functional remediation.
• Maintain clear reporting on vulnerabilities, audit results, and remediation progress.
• Support global risk management and promote security awareness across teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong communication and fluent English.
• Analytical mindset with pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• Effective time- and workload-management.
• Experience with reporting tools and ServiceNow.
• Ability to work with cross-functional global teams.
• University degree (or equivalent experience).

Required Experience:

• 2+ years in project management, IT Security audit, or application security.
• Experience handling audit reporting or remediation workflows.

Contract Details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Contract type: Hybrid employment
• Contract length: 12 months
• Workload: Full-time
• Location: Porto, Portugal (2 days onsite/week)
• Working timezone: Local European timezone
