IT Risk & Control Governance Specialist

Note:

• You must be based in Belgium or willing to relocate for the duration of this assignment
• minimum 8 days a month present at the Brussels office is mandatory

Job description: The job requires negotiation, influencing skills and attention to detail.

• You mainly interact with internal stakeholders (CISO Management, CISO Team Leaders, Risk Management, Audit).
• You also need to maintain a close relationship with IT risk ambassadors from other areas to leverage expertise and align approaches.
• You are required to work autonomously in multiple IT areas, somewhat complex and bearing high risk. It requires a continuous improvement and change management approach, which translates in planning and anticipation of future needs.
• Supporting the IT division in risk identification, analysis, response and monitoring.
• Produce regular reporting and ensure that is accurate and of high quality.
• Perform quality review and trends analysis
• Support the various IT departments in providing the appropriate evidencing upon closure of the mitigating actions and related issues
• Play an active role in IT risk champions and ambassadors forums and initiatives to strengthen risk culture. You will coordinate and participate in the monthly IT Risk Champions & Ambassadors Forum.
• Work closely with Risk Management to integrate the new or enhanced components of ERM (Enterprise Risk Framework)
• Taking initiatives to document and communicate intensively to further increase risk and control awareness, knowledge and expertise.
• Drive a mindset of continuous improvement in risk management processes and controls.
• You are expected to work autonomously to identify opportunities for process enhancements and to anticipate future risk governance needs.
