Job Description

We're currently working with a leading organisation in the financial services sector as they look to strengthen their technology transformation programme.

They're now hiring for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of a critical Data Centre decommissioning and migration project, which forms part of a wider digital transformation. This is a hands-on project ownership role within a structured PMO environment, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional tech teams. This will be a one year FTC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, particularly around data centre migration and decommissioning

  • Develop project plans, manage risks, and ensure delivery against milestones

  • Lead third-party suppliers, internal technical teams, and business stakeholders

  • Prepare board-level reporting, maintain governance standards, and drive RAID management

  • Work within established frameworks (PRINCE2/Agile) and a collaborative PMO function

Experience Required:

  • Strong experience delivering IT infrastructure projects, ideally data centre migrations

  • Expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, and supplier coordination

  • Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 tools

  • Background in highly regulated or financial environments is a strong advantage

Location: Central London (Open to remote)
Salary: £70k-£80k + package

Rates depend on experience and client requirements
