Salary up to £73,737 per year (depending on experience)

Location: Pity Me, Durham, County Durham / Hybrid Working

About the role

We have a brilliant new opportunity for an IT Project Manager to join us in delivering complex IT projects and programmes, utilizing both Agile and traditional methodologies.

You will be responsible for guiding projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet key milestones and deliver value in terms of time, cost, and quality.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams, you will foster a collaborative and inclusive culture that champions innovation and continuous improvement.

Your leadership will shape the future of our digital services, ensuring we remain responsive, resilient, and forward-thinking.

About you

We seek an experienced project manager with a proven track record of delivering critical IT and data platform projects.

You should be comfortable navigating both Agile and Waterfall environments and leading multidisciplinary teams through complex change.

Effective communication skills are essential for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you should bring a thoughtful, people-first approach to leadership.

You understand the importance of financial stewardship, risk management, and stakeholder engagement, and are motivated to make a meaningful impact.

Whether mentoring peers or managing external partners, you bring clarity, empathy, and a commitment to excellence.
