Job Description

Remote / Paddington

My client, a specialized technology company, is looking to recruit a PLM - IT Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract. The role is based in London Paddington and involves managing projects related to key digital systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end software project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing resources effectively.
  • Define project objectives, milestones, and success criteria with stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects have appropriate resources and funding.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, IT, and external vendors.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure requirements are met.
  • System Implementation:
  • Oversee software implementation, integration, and compliance with data security standards.
  • Manage website development and enhancements, ensuring accessibility, usability, and branding standards.
  • Ensure governance and release procedures are followed.
  • Compliance and Data Privacy:
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards, overseeing deployment of customer consent management systems for data privacy.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address project issues promptly to minimize disruption.
  • Mentor project teams and promote a collaborative environment.
  • Evaluate performance metrics and pursue continuous improvement practices.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with PLM IT systems like Siemens Teamcenter, Polarion, SAP PLM, etc.
  • Experience in R&D, MedTech, or Pharma IT projects.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing large, complex programs, including budgeting and financials.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors, SaaS, and COTS applications.
  • Understanding of Product Development, R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing workflows.
  • IT expertise in infrastructure, networking, solution design, and system integration.
