IT Project Manager - MES/Digital Quality/Manufacturing Shop-Floor

We are supporting a leading global end client on a minimum 12-month contract, with extensions expected into 2027. This programme sits inside their core digital transformation roadmap for European manufacturing sites. The role is fully remote, aligned to Europe time zones.

This position focuses on managing the delivery of a new digital quality control solution across multiple R&D and manufacturing environments. You'll work on a sector-wide initiative used across several European plants, partnering with engineering, R&D, IT and external vendors to ensure smooth deployment and operational readiness.

You will oversee the full project life cycle, coordinating technology setup, managing vendors, reviewing risks and issues, and driving delivery milestones. You'll also be responsible for reporting project performance to senior stakeholders and ensuring activities remain on time, on budget and compliant with internal processes.

You'll work closely with a cross-functional team of business and technical stakeholders, typically between 5 and 10 people, covering R&D FSQA, Engineering, and IT colleagues across the region. The work is remote, Monday to Friday, within European business hours. No travel is required.

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience as an IT Project Manager delivering full life cycle projects.
  • Background managing digital or technology solutions in manufacturing or quality environments.
  • Ability to coordinate technical setups including Servers, environments and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across international teams.
  • Experience working with engineering or shop-floor environments beneficial.
  • Fluent English required.
