Job Description
The Vaud Hospitals (Product Owner IT - Management Responsible (ERP, GED, GMAO) The Vaud Hospitals (FHVi) is the preferred partner of over 12 hospitals and regional healthcare establishments in the canton of Vaud. FHVi supports them in the many digital challenges of the healthcare sector and its main missions are to plan, design, implement, and operate the information system for its members. There are over 100 individuals serving more than a hundred geographical sites and across three cantons (VD, VS, FR). The position is open to both women and men. For ease of reading, terms are only used in the masculine form. Join our Systems Department and play a key role in the evolution and performance of logistics-related professions in the hospital (ERP, GMAO, GED). This is a central role as an interface between business teams, suppliers, and IT, with a strong focus on management and product mission: As the Responsible/Product Owner, you are responsible for the functional and technical coherence of the solutions in your scope. The Management Responsible's objective is to manage the life cycle of the solutions, ensuring their security, performance, and efficiency, while responding to the needs of the services. He/she actively participates in the management and evolution of the business system, ensuring its coherence with the defined processes and operating modes at the level of the main activities and responsibilities: Responsibility for the functional and technical management of ERP, GMAO, and GED. Ensure the performance, availability, and security of solutions. Maintain a global view of the architecture and manage the product roadmap in collaboration with the business units. Prioritize the backlog and arbitrate the management. Plan and organize evolutionary maintenance, updates, and development projects with FHVi teams, establishments, and define and implement a service continuity and recovery plan after a major incident. Coordinate technical and functional tests with the business before production releases. Collect, analyze, and prioritize development requests with the support of operational and reference groups, and support the business and reference groups, sharing your expertise to improve the usage of solutions and provide technical support level 2 and 3, analyze incidents and implement permanent solutions, and coordinate interventions with suppliers and partners. Maintain technology up to date according to standards and perform regular technical checks to ensure performance and availability of systems in place and monitor them according to service agreements. Participate in on-call service and standby duties to ensure continuity of services and regular meetings with establishments to follow up on ongoing projects and anticipate future needs. Be a proactive force for improving processes and the usage of solutions in crisis situations effectively. Collaborate on the continuous improvement of usage and the dissemination of good practices within the Systems Department. Qualifications: Higher education (engineer HES/EPF or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years of management experience as a Responsible Manager or Product Owner. Experience in a complex environment and experience in the hospital field or in a similar system: confirm technical background. Project management skills and confirmed experience in SQL groups (complex queries, data analysis, reporting, incident diagnosis). Good development and scripting skills (.NET, PowerShell, or equivalent technologies). Experience with heterogeneous systems and with level 2/3 support. Ability to design and evolve data models. Sensitivity to issues of security, performance, and service continuity. Knowledge of ERP and management tools (e.g., ERP OPALE, GMAO Waveware, Therefore): a plus. Knowledge of mobile technologies (Android): a plus. Professional experience in project management and gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business needs. Ability to bridge functional issues and structured constraints, rigor, and ability to manage complex situations and work under pressure. Autonomy and ability to learn quickly. Availability for travel to hospital sites. Personal qualities: proactive mindset and ability to provide suggestions. Excellent analytical and synthesis skills. Good team and service skills and ability to manage sensitive or crisis situations. Languages: French: excellent oral and written mastery, with writing ability.
