The RoleAs IT Procurement and Asset Manager, you'll establish, own, and continuously improve Bodycote's approach to IT procurement, supplier management, contract lifecycle oversight, and IT asset management. Taking ownership of IT sourcing, vendor governance, contract management, and asset lifecycle, you'll ensure strong governance, commercial control, compliance, and lifecycle visibility across all our global IT suppliers, contracts, and assets. This global role provides strategic and operational leadership, fostering alignment between IT, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and IT Security to maximise business value and minimise risk.
Who We're Looking For Key essentials- Proven experience in IT procurement and commercial management across hardware, software, cloud, and managed services
- Advanced supplier management and relationship building skills
- Experience with IT asset lifecycle management and ITSM tools (e.g., Halo, ServiceNow)
- Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen for spend analysis and cost optimisation
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience improving procurement or supplier governance processes
- Background in complex, global, or multi vendor environments
- Degree in IT, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, CIPS)
- Familiarity with contract management or procurement platforms
- Collaborative, proactive, and detail oriented mindset

This role is based in Macclesfield, UK, with a hybrid working pattern. Some travel may be required (approximately 20%).
