IT Operations Specialist - Jersey or Guernsey

Overview

A well-established commercial organisation, known for delivering secure, high-quality technology services are seeking an experienced IT operations specialist to take the lead in managing cloud infrastructure, networking, and virtualisation platforms. The role will involve 3rd-line support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and contributing to service improvements to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and compliant. The successful applicant can be based either in Jersey or Guernsey.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in managing cloud infrastructure, networking, and virtualisation platforms.
• Provide 3rd-line support and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Contribute to service improvements to ensure systems remain secure, reliable, and compliant.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure or systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of VMware and networking.
• Professional certifications (e.g., VCP, CCNP) are an advantage.

Location & Eligibility

The successful applicant can be based either in Jersey or Guernsey. Applicants must be entitled to live and work in Guernsey or Jersey.
