Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to support, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise IT infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows/Linux Servers, virtualization, networking, storage, and hardware support.

Location: 100% Onsite
Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure to ensure system availability and performance.

  • Support physical and virtual server environments, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance.

  • Administer Windows Server and Linux systems (RHEL, SLES, Ubuntu).

  • Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Proxmox, and OLVM.

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.

  • Manage storage infrastructure, including SAN, NAS, RAID, and capacity monitoring.

  • Support backup, recovery, hardware installations, replacements, and upgrades.

  • Perform system health checks, incident resolution, and preventive maintenance.

  • Assist with infrastructure migrations, technology upgrades, and end-user support.

  • Participate in on-call support when required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering or systems administration.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.

  • Experience with VMware, Proxmox, OLVM, or similar virtualization technologies.

  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, storage, and backup solutions.

  • Experience troubleshooting physical Servers and enterprise infrastructure.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in an onsite enterprise IT environment.

Ideal Candidate: A technically strong Infrastructure Engineer or Systems Administrator with hands-on experience supporting enterprise Servers, virtualization, storage, and day-to-day infrastructure operations.
