IT Business Analyst - finance sector

Note:

• Candidates should be based in Belgium, France, The Netherland or the UK
• The client will accept UK based candidates if they use an accredited umbrella company for this assignment
• 8 days a month at a clients office is mandatory

Required profile

• Knowledge:
  • Broad understanding of CSDs, CSD Regulation and the position of CSDs as FMIs within the financial markets post trade landscape.
  • A deep understanding of securities market standards developed through bodies such as SMPG, ISO (ISO15022, ISO20022).
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Analysis role.
  • Have successfully delivered complex projects utilising methodologies such as Waterfall, V-Model, SCRUM, SAFE.
• Skills:
  • Stakeholder Management - You are able to confidently manage all stakeholders, irrespective of their position or interest.
  • Expert in utilising and promoting business analysis methods such as:
    • Modelling - Use Cases, Story Mapping, Process Modelling (BPMN, UML), Data Modelling (conceptual/logical)
    • Requirements - Business, Stakeholder, Functional/Non-Functional, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria.
  • Excellent two-way communication skills (eg listening, verbal, written) across multiple departments, roles and levels of seniority. You are able to adjust your communication depending on the situation.
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem solving skills and a logical mind.
