IT Business Analyst - Enterprise LMS Transformation

TechNET IT has partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation delivering a major enterprise-wide Learning Management System (LMS) replacement programme.

We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional IT Business Analyst to bridge business requirements and technical delivery across a complex global SaaS transformation.

The successful candidate will combine strong business analysis capabilities with technical understanding of enterprise applications, integrations, data, configuration and validated system delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, documentation, prioritisation and traceability across business and technical workstreams.
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements covering integrations, configuration, data, security and user experience.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and document current and future-state business processes.
• Work closely with architects, technical teams and implementation partners to evaluate solution designs.
• Develop configuration workbooks, interface requirements, data mappings and acceptance criteria.
• Support testing, validation, defect resolution and solution acceptance.
• Ensure requirements and documentation meet GxP validation and quality expectations.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and digital tools to improve business analysis and delivery outcomes.

Essential Experience

• Significant techno-functional Business Analyst experience within large, complex global organisations.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise SaaS implementations or major technology transformation programmes.
• Strong requirements elicitation, process mapping, stakeholder management and solution design capabilities.
• Technical understanding of integrations, APIs, data mapping, system configuration, security and access controls.
• Experience managing end-to-end requirements traceability, testing and validation activities.
• Ability to work confidently with technical architects, developers, implementation partners and senior business stakeholders.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools and automation to improve business analysis and delivery.
• Excellent communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Experience

• Cornerstone or comparable enterprise LMS implementation experience.
• Workday HCM, HR technology or learning platform transformation experience.
• Pharmaceutical, life sciences or another regulated industry background.
• Experience supporting validated GxP system delivery.
• Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• BCS, IIBA or equivalent business analysis certification.
