Role name: IT Administrator
Scope:
SEE Region IT environment with main focus on Austria and Hungary's Bureau Veritas business.
Location: Vienna, Vienna, AT


Aufgaben
  • Responsible for the local IT business continuity, perform 2 level IT support,
  • IT infrastructure admin and compliancy in cybersecurity/licensing/policies
  • Organize local IT professional partners and collaborate with Corporate IT/IS teams
  • Performs its work within BV quality assurance system, the Code of Ethics and BV Policies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures business continuity through availability, accuracy, security, compliancy
  • Performs 2 level support, monitor and maintain IT performance
  • Manages network LAN/WAN admin; HW/SW installation, configuration, monitor
  • Adapts the systems within prescribed standard
  • Identifies, analyzes and report system anomalies to appropriate professionals
  • Keeps endpoints compliant with BV Corporate policies: configuration, cybersecurity , software
  • Configures user accounts, access rights, member groups
  • Supplies training and procedures, instructions and 2 level support
  • Maintains IT procedures and instructions
  • Actively partecipate the deployment of Corporate and Regional IT initiatives
  • Collaborates with all Corporate teams for issues resolution
  • Performs system administration for databases if needed locally
  • Tests SW solutions and enhancements according with infrastructure/endpoint needs
  • Collaborate with IT team and other support functions (personnel, finance )
  • Keeps licensing rules compliancy
  • Manage and mantain up to date IT assets inventory
  • Actively partecipate to the preparation of IT budget
  • Monitor costs in line with budget (support Finance in actual vs budget monitor)
  • Works for cost effectiveness with local IT service agreements and technological solutions
  • At the request of N+1, performs other tasks for the successful and efficient operation of the company
  • Be sponsor for the adoption of cloud technologies.
  • Manage the Cloud enviroment.

Profil
  • 5 years experience job related : Helpdesk, Local IT, IT expert
  • Experience in subjects related: Mobile devices , Active Directory, IT projects, databases
  • Expertise in: Physical & Virtual server admin, OS, network, security, MS admin, O365
  • Ability to work in remote international teams
  • Ability to communicate and keep positive relationship with users and colleagues
  • Expertise in cloud : AWS solutions preferred

Required educational levels:

  • Higher education with Information Technology specialization
  • English Language Fluent
  • Any job related certificate and training (PMI, ITIL, AWS )
  • Driving license category B (cars) and availability to travel across Austria, Hungary, South Germany, Switzerland.
