PE Global Healthcare is partnering with a prestigious NHS Trust to recruit experienced Specialty Doctors in Medicine(ALL SPECIALITIES) to join its expanding and dynamic Acute Medicine team.

This is an excellent opportunity for middle-grade doctors seeking a supportive working environment with outstanding education and training. The Trust has a strong commitment to developing future Consultants and provides full support for doctors wishing to pursue the Portfolio Pathway (CESR).

The Role

As a Specialty Doctor in Acute Medicine, you will:

  • Work alongside Acute Medicine Registrars and Specialty Doctors, providing middle-grade cover within the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC).
  • Deliver senior clinical input within SDEC while working closely with experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) and Consultant Physicians.
  • Support Consultants in the management of patients admitted to the AMU, particularly those on day two and beyond of their admission.
  • Provide senior clinical decision-making, supervision, and guidance to junior doctors and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental teaching programmes.
Eligibility

To be considered, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in an Irish hospital (HSE or private hospital) in Acute or General Medicine.
  • Full MRCP (UK) qualification.
  • Eligibility for GMC registration, or be currently progressing through the GMC registration process.
  • A strong interest in developing a long term career within the NHS.
