Job Description
Job Overview

The Investor Services Director is responsible for all aspects of the Investor Services and Transfer Agency processes, providing first rate service to clients and driving system, procedural and operational enhancements. The role reports to a Managing Director and receives induction, mandatory AML/KYC, and additional client specific training.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in new client meetings to demonstrate Hedge Investor and outline HedgeServ's solutions.
  • Lead Investor Services recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in collaboration with the Compliance Department.
  • Oversee investor transaction processing, reporting, and ad hoc client requests.
  • Maintain a controlled, documented, and tested internal environment for the Investor Services team.
  • Review documentation during new client onboarding and when taking clients from other administrators.
  • Resolve employee issues in partnership with HR and the Management Department.
  • Tackle complex AML/KYC documentation with the Compliance Department and MLRO.
  • Handle complex calls from investors and clients.
  • Identify and propose process, personnel, and structural improvements to the Managing Director.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with NAV, QA, and Compliance departments.
  • Manage multiple client relationships, ensuring consistent liaison with clients and the relevant NAV Director.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2.2 honours degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business.
  • IT literacy and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and initiative, with the ability to know when escalation is required.
  • Leadership experience capable of influencing team morale.
  • Minimum seven years of senior level experience at a Hedge Fund Administration firm.
