Are you passionate about financial analysis, market evaluation, and strategic decision-making? At Mutua Madrileña, we are looking for a forward-thinking Investment Associate to join our high-performing investment team. You will play a key role in portfolio management, driving the expansion and optimization of our investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Investment Analysis & Monitoring:
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of companies within the investment portfolio.
- Read, analyze, and summarize corporate, financial reports, and market trends.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability and risk evaluation.
Investment Strategy Development:
- Identify new investment opportunities within and outside the organization.
- Lead the due diligence process, ensuring a thorough evaluation of investment opportunities.
- Manage deal negotiations, including legal, contractual, and regulatory aspects.
Documentation & Communication:
- Draft investment memos and strategic materials for decision-making.
- Prepare interviews and calls with experts, investors, and entrepreneurs.
- Present reports and findings to management and stakeholders.
Internal Process Optimization:
- Evaluate and improve financial analysis methodologies and internal processes.
- Collaborate in fund expansion, bringing insights and innovative strategies.
- Develop and share knowledge to enhance business unit performance.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Business, Data, or related fields.
- More than 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, startups, or consulting.
- Excellent analytical, financial, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English (other languages are a plus).
- A field-related MBA is required.
- Experience in advanced financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of accounting methods and executive incentive analysis.
- Ability to optimize internal processes and improve investment strategies.
