Make a real difference where it matters most.Veritas Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a warm, welcoming primary school in Pendle to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Intervention Teacher for a permanent position starting in September 2026.
If you're passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive academically and personally, this could be the perfect opportunity.
You'll play a vital role in supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, delivering targeted intervention sessions that build confidence, close learning gaps and help every child achieve their potential.
The RoleThis varied and rewarding position includes:
- 3 days per week delivering targeted intervention sessions with Year 5 and Year 6 pupils in small groups.
- 1 day per week teaching a full KS2 class, giving you the opportunity to remain connected to classroom teaching while making a lasting impact through intervention.
Working closely with class teachers, the SENCO and support staff, you'll tailor learning to individual needs and celebrate the progress pupils make every step of the way.

We're Looking For Someone Who:- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Is passionate about supporting children with SEND and additional learning needs.
- Can deliver engaging, targeted intervention sessions that accelerate progress.
- Adapts teaching to meet a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Demonstrates excellent behaviour management, patience and resilience.
- Works effectively as part of a collaborative team.
- A welcoming, inclusive and supportive school community.
- An experienced and approachable Senior Leadership Team.
- Excellent opportunities for CPD and SEND-focused training.
- A strong team ethos where staff support one another.
- Well-resourced learning and intervention spaces.
