International Payroll Specialist - Belgium

What You'll Do
  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations for assigned international markets, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs with local stakeholders and payroll providers, while monitoring key deadlines and mitigating risks.
  • Perform payroll validations, audit compliant checks, year end activities, and support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Act as a key contact for payroll related queries, finance reconciliations, tax submissions, and third party payments.
  • Lead regular meetings with payroll providers and collaborate with global payroll teams to track and resolve actions and issues.
  • Maintain payroll documentation, ensure compliance with local legislation, identify process improvements, and provide support across the wider payroll team as needed.

What You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of payroll experience, ideally including exposure to Belgium payroll, with a strong understanding of payroll operations and compliance.
  • Professional payroll accreditation (e.g. CIPP or international equivalent) and knowledge of payroll legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and external providers.
  • A proactive, organised, and resilient approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
